Representative of Erdogan: Turkey will not impose sanctions against Russia

“Turkey refused to join sanctions against Russia, as it proceeds from its economic benefit.” This was stated by the representative of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan Ibrahim Kalyn on the air of the Haberturk television channel.

He recalled that the country depends on external energy sources and emphasized that Ankara openly declared its position to Western countries.

“Sanctions against Russia will hit, first of all, on Turkey’s economy, of course, we do not want this,” he concluded.
