The wife of the ex-head of the executive branch of the Imishchensky district, William Gadzhiev, Juliet Ibragimova and her son Muhammad Gadzhiev filed an appeal against the verdict of the Baku court on serious crimes.
According to haqqin.az, they are unhappy with the confiscation of property registered in their name, as the property of William Gadzhiev.
In her complaint, Juliet Gadzhieva demanded that the arrest from apartments and cars total 5 million 218 thousand manat, and Muhammad Gadzhiev – the exemption from the confiscation of the Land Rover car worth 126 thousand manat.
The complaint will be considered in the Baku Court of Appeal, chaired by Judge Ibrahim Ibrahimly.
Note that William Gadzhiev was detained during an operation conducted by the state security service. The former head of the executive branch is charged with Art. 179.3.2 of the Criminal Code of the AR (assignment or embezzlement on a large scale, 308.1 (abuse of authority), 311.3.3 (receiving a bribe (passive bribery), during a large amount) 313 (forgery) and 228 (illegal storage of weapons). He was sentenced by the Baku court on serious crimes to 12 years in prison. According to the verdict, the property of the former head of the executive branch in the amount of 5 million 344 thousand manat was confiscated in favor of the state.
