Russia agreed to a truce during the transportation of goods as a result of negotiations on Ukrainian grain in Istanbul. It is reported by Reuters.
It is noted that Turkey, with the support of the UN, will inspect ships employed in transportation in order to exclude the smuggling of weapons.
In turn, the deputy representative of the UN Secretary General Farhan Khak UN expects positive statements following the results of negotiations.
“I will not run ahead of my leader. The general secretary will soon meet with you. But it is important to note that we believe that this is something positive,” he said, answering the question of the results of negotiations.
