Candidate of Medical Sciences, Nutritionist, Associate Professor of the Medical Faculty of St. Petersburg State University, Andrei Bobrovsky revealed the secret of a useful breakfast in a conversation with Radio Sputnik.
According to him, the body for full-fledged satiety is needed in sufficient carbohydrates, fats and proteins. “Imagine a plate. From all the volume of food, which is going to consume, half must occupy vegetables and fruits, a quarter – some grains: it’s any side dish, porridge, bread, another quarter – meat or protein products,” said specialist.
Bobrovsky also noted that it is not necessary to use sweet for breakfast. He stressed that fruits and berries contain sugar, which does not have the harmful effect on the body “subject to adequate doses.” However, sugar, which is added to the desserts is harmful.
