Minister of Defense Alexei Reznikov shared the forecasts that active hostilities between Russia and Ukraine will stop until the end of 2022, Ukrainian Pravda reports.
“Russia continues to make efforts to capture all of Ukraine. It is still impossible to predict when the war is over, but my optimistic forecasts are that it is real to do this year,” he said.
Reznikov recalled that the Kremlin’s plans are based on the conviction that all the lands around Russia are Russian, so they need to be returned.
The minister added that the next victims of Russia will be Poland, Baltic countries, Slovakia and others, “if Ukraine with partners does not stop Russia and will not weaken its military power.”
