The Russian Embassy in Stockholm on April 15 was subjected to the “next act of vandalism.” This is stated in a message published in the Telegram channel of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Sweden.
“on the asphalt before the central entrance to the service building of the diplomatic mission, as well as in front of the residential complex on its territory (where the school at the embassy is also located), the containers with paint were dropped. The Swedish police immediately informed about what happened,” follows the message.
The message notes that “the note was sent to the Sweden Foreign Ministry with the demand to properly perform the duties of the host in accordance with the Vienna Convention on the diplomatic relations of 1961 in terms of ensuring the inviolability and security of the Russian diplomatic mission.”
“Meanwhile, over the past year, this is the eleventh incident of a similar nature, and the investigations that allegedly conducted the Swedish law enforcement agencies on previous episodes did not bring any results.” -Id in the diplomatic mission, drawing attention to the fact that “acts of vandalism in relation to the Russian Embassy in Sweden continue, which cannot but think about the political motives of the Swedish official authorities.”
