REASH groups made an attempt to attack the U.S. Base in the Syrian province of Deir ez-zro with the use of missiles.
According to information received from local sources, groups supported by Iran, deployed in the villages of Hashsham and Murat to the west of the Euphrates River, in the evening made an attempt to attack the base in the Koniko gas field, where US forces are deployed.
It is reported that the air defense posted on the basis of the Air Defense System was destroyed before they reached the goal.
The US authorities have not yet commented on this incident.
The US Army bases in the provinces of Khasek and Deir ez-Zor are often attacked with the use of missiles and kamikadze drones.
DER-EZ-Zor-Eve-Enfrata territories are occupied by the YPG terrorist organization (PKK Syrian wing), the central part and rural areas of the province are occupied by Bashar Assad and the groups supported by Iran.
