Soyuz-2.1A launch vehicle with the Soyuz MS-27 manned ship and three members of the new crew of the International Space Station (ISS) started from the site number 31 (Vostok) of the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. This was reported by the Russian State Corporation “Roscosmos”.
“The ship was brought to the orbit of the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle, its antennas and solar batteries are disclosed. We are waiting for the docking to the Module” Pier “(Russian segment of the ISS) at 12:04 Moscow time,” said the head of Roscosmos Dmitry Bakanov.
On board the ship of the Cosmonauts “Roscosmos” Sergey Ryzhikov, Alexei Zubritsky and NASA astronaut Jonathan Kim. The crew will stay in orbit 245 days. The return of the “Union MS-27” is expected to December 9th.
