The tourist was in India from April 11 to 20, he was alone on a trip, visited several cities and made a visit to Nepal. The man himself claims that he drank running filtered water from the tap, ate in various institutions. Upon returning home, a man became not good, he felt unwell and turned to the doctors.
“after a sharp deterioration in the condition, he was hospitalized in an infectious hospital. On the basis of the FBUZ center of hygiene and epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor in the Moscow region, laboratory tests were conducted in the shortest possible time, the causative agent of cholera was identified. On the morning of April 24, the patient’s condition is satisfactory with positive dynamics,” the Russian department noted.
Rospotrebnadzor installed contact persons – 321 people in 33 regions of the country (including relatives of the patient, passengers and the crew of the flight that he flew, ambulance doctors). All came into contact under medical supervision.
“anti -epidemic measures in the Moscow region continue. The situation is kept in the strict control of Rospotrebnadzor,” the department said.
