The chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and Forced Migrants of Azerbaijan, Rosaan, met with representatives of the Mine Mark Foundation of the Dutch Foundation. The meeting was attended by the fellow citizens of the Niels Hegel Foundation, Lala Mustafazade-Wan Der Kolk, the finances and strategy manager Alexander Zdravkovsky, the project manager Ilaria Vallini.
The State Committee said that the guests were informed in detail about the fulfillment of the order of President Ilham Aliyev to clean the liberated territories from mines and unexploded ammunition, and the necessary security measures. It is noted that the voluntary and safe return of Azerbaijanis, who has been living as forced immigrants for many years, and ensuring worthy living conditions for them is currently an important priority for state policy. In this regard, cooperation with the Mine Mark Foundation is of great importance. An innovative approach to teaching schoolchildren is especially effective.
Lala Mustafazade-van der Kolk, the co-founder of the fund, thanked for the warm welcome, informed about the goals of the current visit to Azerbaijan, and also expressed gratitude to the State Committee for the support provided by the project.
The parties exchanged views on the expansion of the possibilities of cooperation.
Representatives of the Mine Mark Foundation visited the schools of Baku and the Agdam district, where students-for-in-laws are studying. For students, interactive measures were carried out on the topic of mine danger and protection from explosive objects, they were distributed painting books and booklets, as well as explained methods of protection from mines using electronic applications.
