The King of the Netherlands Willem-Alexander proposed to place Ukrainian refugees on the territory of one of their palaces, reports “European True” with reference to the statement of the Royal House of the Netherlands.
We are talking about the castle of the XV century, erected as a hunting house and surrounded by the moat, on the territory of the Hat-Loo palace complex on the outskirts of the city of Apeldern. There from mid-April will be able to accommodate from six to eight Ukrainian families or from 20 to 30 people.
It is noted that the castle, where Ukrainian refugees will live, is located in the back of the palace park. It is closed to the public and is actually used by the royal family as a private residence. The king rents property from the state.
