Azerbaijani shooter Ruslan Lunev became the winner of the Grand Prix tournament in the Spanish Granade.
In the qualification of shooting from a pneumatic pistol, he scored 580 points and took 4th place, breaking through to the final eight.
In the final, after five episodes, the Azerbaijani athlete took 2nd place, second only to Damir Mikech from Serbia. It was with him that Lunev was to compete in the final match. Here Ruslan turned out to be stronger than the opponent.
This year, this is the fourth success of Lunev in major international competitions. He won the gold of the Grand Prix in Slovenian Rush, became the silver medalist of the Grand Prix in the Croatian Osieke and took 2nd place in the World Cup in the capital of Egypt Cairo.
If we talk about the earliest achievements of Ruslan, then this is a victory at the European Championship 2019 in Bologna (Italy), bronze at the World Cup in Delhi (India) and, of course, five gold medals on Islamiad-2017 in Baku.
It is also worth adding that in the recently compiled by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the rating of the best athletes of Azerbaijan Ruslan Lunev in April took 1st place.
