Russia: 46 Citizens Of Kursk Region Were Returned From Ukraine

The Supreme Commissar of the Russian Federation for Human Rights Tatyana Moskalkova said that 46 residents of the Kursk region, where clashes continue, were returned from Ukraine.

Moskalkova reported this in her Telegram channel: “As a result of negotiations with the Ukrainian side to Russia, 46 residents of the Kursk region returned from Ukraine. 12 of them are children.”

According to her, it was possible to do this thanks to the interaction of employees of the Administration of the President of Russia, the Ministry of Defense and Foreign Affairs, as well as the relevant Belarusian institutions. She added that these citizens were taken to Ukraine from the Kursk region by Ukrainian military.

In early August, the Ukrainian military took control of part of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
