Russia, in the case of Armenia or Azerbaijan, would be ready to provide advisory assistance to the border demarcation commission between the two countries. This was stated by the Deputy Foreign Ministry of Russia Andrei Rudenko in the sidelines of the Central Asian Conference of the International Discussion Club “Valdai”, RIA Novosti reports.
“While I have not heard anything about them (Baku and Yerevan – Ed.) Reactions. Russia would be ready in the case of an appropriate request from Baku or Yerevan to provide advisory assistance in this process,” said Rudenko.
Earlier, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Lavrov said that Russia could become an intermediary when discussing the issues of the demarcation of the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
