Russia And Armenia Agreed On Number Of Issues On Protection Of State Border Of Armenia

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting in Moscow on Tuesday, agreed on a number of issues on the protection of the state border of Armenia.

This was reported by the press secretary of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nazeli Baghdasaryan.

“The agreement was reached that from January 1, 2025 the border troops of the SNB of Armenia will also participate in the protection of the state borders of Armenia-Iran and Armenia-Turisia, and the service at the control and borderline of the state border of Armenia-Iran will be fully carried out by the border troops forces SNB of Armenia “”, – wrote on the social network the premiere of Armenia Nazeli Baghdasaryan.

According to this message, Pashinyan thanked Putin for the service of the Border Troops of the FSB of Russia at the state border control center between the Republic of Armenia and the Islamic Republic of Iran from the moment of the Armenia gained independence.
