Russia and Azerbaijan will jointly explore Caspian Sea

Scientific organizations of Russia and Azerbaijan will strengthen interaction in the field of research of the Caspian region. The relevant agreement was signed on Wednesday in Moscow on the fields of the Caspian Dialogue International Assembly, TASS reports.

The document was signed by representatives of the Institute of Geography of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, the Council “Science and Innovation of the Caspian” (Nick) and the Association for Support for the Development of Technologies and Research Cooperation in the Caspian region “Science and Innovation of the Caspian” (Anika). This Agreement is unlimited and enters into force after its signing by the parties.

The parties intend to strengthen interaction in the direction of the development of international cooperation “in the scientific, technological, innovative and educational areas between interested organizations located in Russia, Azerbaijan and other countries of the Caspian region, to promote” organizing joint research, studying climate change and level Caspian Sea, Environmental Monitoring of the Caspian in the waters of the Russian Federation and Azerbaijan. “

For the implementation of the agreement, regular consultations, the creation of expert groups and an invitation to work in their composition of the “wide range of institutions from all countries of the Caspian”, as well as the release of information and analytical materials, the development of Internet resources and print media devoted to scientific and publication technological cooperation.
