The new foreign minister of China Qin Gan discussed in a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov a crisis situation in Ukraine, said the PRC Foreign Ministry.
“On January 9, the planned telephone conversation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Qin Gan with the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov took place. The parties exchanged views on the Ukrainian crisis,” the report said.
Qin Gan expressed his readiness to maintain close contacts with Sergey Lavrov.
