Iran and Russia are planning to conclude an agreement that suggests military cooperation, the purchase of weapons and the fight against terrorism, stated in Moscow by head of the General Staff Iran Mohammad Baghery in an interview with Russia-24 TV channel.
“This document is under preparation. The leaders of our countries have complete understanding in the development of this document. This work has already connected the relevant departments of our countries and, I hope we will soon finish the preparation of this document,” said Baghery, his words Provides interfax.
“It will have provisions on military cooperation and interaction in the field of security, including the purchase of arms and the training of specialists, conducting exercises and the fight against terrorism in Western Asia,” said Baghery, adding that Iran is not yet prepared for the creation of a military Blok with Russia, but do not exclude such an opportunity in the future.
