The deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that the American reactive systems of the Himars volley (MLRS), which the United States transferred the Ukrainian army at the moment do not pose a significant threat to the Russian territory, but all depends on the range of missiles. He told about this to the French television channel LCI.
“Himars, of course, do not yet pose such a significant threat,” he said.
At the same time, Medvedev noted that these MLRS and some others are able to shoot at different distances depending on the category of missiles.
“When this kind of rocket flies at 70 km – this is one thing, and when 300-400 km is another, this is another threat directly to the territory of the Russian Federation,” explained the deputy chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Russian Federation.
