In turn, the director of the FSB of the Russian Federation Alexander Bortnikov said that Western intelligence agencies are trying to create foci of tension in the country.
“Western special services also try to create artificial foci of tension in Russia, primarily in regions with pronounced national and religious specifics. Their actions are aimed at inspiring protest moods and provoking acute conflict situations leading to riots and committing terrorist attacks”, he said.
Bortnikov also attracted attention to strengthening the recruitment of international terrorist organizations among migrants from Central Asia in order to form terrorist cells in various regions of the country.
