Russia superimposed the Veto in the UN Security Council on the draft resolution of the United States and Albania with condemning a decision to join Russia of 4 occupied regions of Ukraine, foreign media write.
“The project of the resolution was not adopted,” said the chairman of the Secondary Social of Submissions, Nichola de Riviere.
According to the results of the vote, 10 members of the Security Council voted for the adoption of the draft resolution, four abstained on the vote, and Russia voted against, applying the right of a veto. Thus, the project was not adopted.
