Russia: “Azov” was recognized as a terrorist organization

The Supreme Court of Russia recognized the Ukrainian Regiment of Azov with a terrorist organization and banned its activities in Russia. This decision was made in the lawsuit of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation. The judge announced that the decision comes into force immediately, reports TASS.

Now in Russia, Azov fighters can be judged as accomplices, participants and organizers of the terrorist organization. This threatens them with tightening the terms of conclusion: the participants in the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation provide a term of 10 to 20 years in prison, organizers – from 15 to 20 years.
