Russia, as a response measure in relation to Russian -speaking media in Moldova, banned the entry into the country to 11 deputies of the Parliament of the Republic from the Party “Action and Solidarity” (PDS). This was announced by TASS by the official representative of the Moldavian Foreign Ministry Igor Zakharov.
“The ban on entry to Russia received 11 deputies from the party and solidarity,” Zakharov said.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that an asymmetric measure was closed to the Russian Federation to a number of officials of the Republic of Moldova.
“On November 20, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova in the Russian Federation Liliandarius was called to the Russian Foreign Ministry. The Moldavian side announced a decisive protest in connection with the ongoing politically motivated persecution of the Russian-speaking media in Moldova, which is also expressed in blocking access to their Internet Sites, ”said the message.
