In the Russian city, Voronezh did not take place a concert on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the creation of the Armenian army. Representatives of the local Armenian diaspora have already prepared a poster for the event appointed on January 28. However, Armenians turned off the local city hall – they were reminded of the inadmissibility of the celebration of the anniversary of the army of another country in Russia.
About the concert a few days ago, a local Internet publication “Notepad” wrote. It was reported that the relevant billboard was decorated with a militant quotation of the adviser to the President of Armenia on Defense issues in 1992-1993 Vazgen Sargsyan (one of the organizers of the Khojaly massacre, a military criminal – Ed). It was indicated that the concert was planned to hold on January 28 in the House of Railway Culture in Voronezh.
The editorial office of the Portal “Notepad” wondered: in Voronezh, the anniversary of the Republic of Armenia was noted. But where is the Armenian National Army, and where to Voronezh? In the city hall, Voronezh was informed that the concert was recognized only through this site. A meeting was held, which was invited by the chairman of the Armenian community in Voronezh Kamo Chobanyan, asking him an explanation. It turned out that Chobanyan, like the local Armenian community, did not know anything about the concert and did not participate in his organization.
Celebanyan’s assistant Vardan Vardazaryan also stated the publication that there was no idea where the poster came from: “For us it became a complete surprise. I myself found out about it after your article, I called me. We do not know who organized a concert, diaspora in Its organization is not involved. “
After the intervention of the City Hall, the concert was postponed to February 6, and his subject was completely changed. Now the event will be devoted to “preservation of Armenian cultural heritage in Russia.”
In the Armenian diaspora, according to Vardan Vardazaryan, was very indignant by the video, which appeared on YouTube after the publication. The name of the roller said itself for itself “Attempt by provocation! Armenians in Voronezh rigidly put in place!” The unknown author reported that the representatives of the Armenian diaspora were held “intelligible conversations” and “a warning about the inadmissibility of such shares was carried out.” Because in the Russian city, the anniversary of the Russian army can be celebrated. “Praise your army at home, we have our own, which protects, including you, and your army,” sarcastically speaks to the video with a hint of a 44-day war in Karabakh.
