In the Kaliningrad region, the tactical exercises of the Baltic Fleet missile formations with the use of Iskander-M complexes began, Russian media reported.
“Iskander”, according to the plan of exercises, will perform several series of electronic launches according to critically important objects of a conditional enemy.
Calculations of complexes will have to work out loading of ammunition, as well as a way out of a possible response blow. For this, military personnel will work out a set of tasks with a multiple change in starting positions.
At the same time, a flight tactical exercises (LTU) of marine aviation will be held at the same time in the Baltic Sea, during which the Su-24, Su-30SM, Su-30SM2 and Su-27 crews will have to work out strikes on cruise missiles and strategic bombers of a conditional enemy, and also find and track its submarines.
