The Russian government extended the ban on the entry of trucks to Russia from the European Union, Great Britain, Norway and Ukraine.
The relevant application appeared on Monday, December 25, in the official Telegram channel of the Cabinet.
According to the report, the restriction will act until the elimination of the circumstances that served as the basis for its introduction.
The exception, as before, will be made, including for the transportation of mail, diplomatic mail and humanitarian aid.
In addition, now the restriction will not apply to the fare of freight vehicles for technical support for the transportation of equipment and sports cars to the places of sports competitions.
The ban was introduced in 2022 as a response measure to the EU decision not to miss trucks with Russian and Belarusian numbers.
