All property of the eldest daughter of the first president of Uzbekistan Gulnara Karimova was arrested in Russia. Mash reports that among the confiscated property is a house for about 200 million rubles in a village guarded by FSO.
The mansion is also confiscated in the cottage “Diplomat” in Gorki-2 of the Odintsovo district.
On September 13, it was reported that the Russian court confiscated six Moscow apartments of Karimova. According to the Deputy Minister of Justice of Uzbekistan Muzraf Ikramov, the income from the sale of apartments confiscated by the court will be divided equally between Moscow and Tashkent.
Now Gulnara Karimova is serving a term in the Uzbek colony. In March 2020, the court sentenced her to 13 years and four months in prison on charges of organizing a criminal community, extortion, embezzlement and money laundering. This is the third sentence regarding Karimova. Within the term of the punishment appointed by the court, the terms left by Karimova for the first two sentences were counted.
Recall, Karimova was arrested in July 2017. She was charged with fraud, concealing foreign currency, violation of customs legislation, violation of the rules of trade or the provision of services, forging documents and legalizing income received by criminal means, as well as organizing a criminal community.
