Russia increased quotas for the import of tomatoes from Turkey – up to 500 thousand tons from 350 thousand tons.
The corresponding order of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation is published on the official portal of legal information.

From the beginning of 2016 to November 2017, a ban was introduced for the supply of Turkish tomatoes to Russia. In March 2018, a quota was introduced for imports up to 50 thousand tons of tomatoes from Turkey. In the future, the quota gradually increased.
