The application of cyberudaries at state institutions of the Kaliningrad region and the Moscow energy system is modeled on exercises under the auspices of NATO, which are held regularly by the UK, said Oleg Syromolotov, deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
commenting on the previously published information of The Times that the national cybersecurity forces of Great Britain purposefully gain IT specialists with knowledge of the Russian language, Syromolotov noted that in these attempts London is not surprising.
“British systematically aim their offensive capabilities in the information sphere to Russia, – the deputy head of the Foreign Ministry emphasized.” On a regular basis, exercises are conducted, including under the auspices of NATO, to develop strokes using ICTs on Russian objects of critical information Infrastructure. In particular, defeat of state institutions in the Kaliningrad region and the energy system of Moscow is simulated.
