Russia transferred to the Crimea compounds of the 58th combustive army of the Southern Military District (Yuvo), who fought in the Caucasus in the late 90s – early 2000s, as part of the implementation of training firing at the Polygon of Opuk. About this “Kommersant” reported in the press service of Yuvo.
In the course of maneuvers, the task was set to check the practical skills of operators of anti-tank controlled complexes “Fagot” and “Chrysanthemum” – in particular, non-sabrmed approaches were used in the formation of tactical groups.
It is noted that the exercises were held under the leadership of the commander of the Yuvo Alexander Kzannikov.
