Russia does not exclude a power response to threats to sovereignty and territorial integrity, said Nikolai Patrushev in an interview with the Russian Gazette.
He stressed that the new edition of the National Security Strategy proclaims the desire to increase confidence and stability in international relations.
“However, it has the legality of making symmetric and asymmetric measures to curb and prevent unfriendly actions that pose a threat to sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Russian Federation,” RIA news secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation quotes.
Answering a question, whether they are talking about hostilities here, Patrushev stressed that it is primarily implied by economic sanctions, however, in case of need, Moscow is ready to apply and power methods.
