At the UN conference on changing the climate in Egypt, not a single foreign guest came to the Russian round table, writes Washington Post.
“I invited everyone, but no one (did not come – ed.),” The former NHL star and the deputy of the State Duma of Russia and the chairman of the All -Russian nature of the nature of nature Vyacheslav Fetisov told reporters.
He noted that Russia is one of the world’s largest sources of greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, from other countries it was short -sighted to ignore the point of view of Russia.
“Without Russia, you cannot solve these problems. Conflict (in Ukraine – Ed.) Can end tomorrow. But you will lose a year to make the right decision for the future,” said Vyacheslav Fetisov.
“We did not come to Egypt to discuss the situation in Ukraine. We came here to share our worries, share our experience, share our knowledge,” Fetisov complained.
At the same time, he admitted that he could not come to a similar conference if it took place in the United States, because Washington imposed personal sanctions against him for participating in the vote about the annexation of four regions of Ukraine.
