Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev expressed the hope that the West has “enough courage” to recognize his miscalculations and “repent of his own stupidity.”
Medvedev expects that “our former Western partners” will be able to abandon the vicious practice of illegal extraterritorial application of legislation and discriminatory attitude to everything that has Russian roots. “Just repent of your own stupidity,” Medvedev said at the St. Petersburg International Law Forum.
“If this is not, we will live without them,” said the deputy head of the Council of People’s Commissars of the Russian Federation, adding that the world today does not come down to the borders of Western countries at all: most of it lives on its own, independent rules.
