Russian agency refused to publish an interview with Ruben Vardanyan

Ruben Vardanyan, a Russian billionaire of Armenian descent, who declared himself a “state minister” in Hangkendi, continues his PR in the Russian information space. The news of his appointment by the head of the so -called “government” was widely spread in the Russian media. Moreover, the latter not only publish news about Vardanyans, but also from time to time replicate his interviews. Behind such attention to the Person of Vardanyan in the Russian information space, two factors can stand: the Kremlin’s indication or the money of the billionaire. However, both are possible.

This time, the Russian RBC sent his journalist to Vardanyan. However, the agency later refused to broadcast this interview, motivating this “threats” to journalist Ilya Doronov, who interviewed Vardanyan, from Azerbaijanis on social networks.

Previously, Doronov announced an interview with the Armenian politician for RBC. However, in his Telegram channel later information appeared, according to which interviews with Ruben Vardanyan will not be published.

“Ilya specifically visited Armenia for this interview, the conversation was shot and announced it, but RBC refuses to publish it. The reason for the refusal is the threat of physical reprisals that Ilya and his family members received an interview in social networks from Azerbaijani users,” – The message says.

It should be noted that a few months ago, the Russian Agency “RIA Novosti” published an interview with Artak Beflerine, the then “state minister” of the so -called regime in Hankendi. The interview quickly spread in many Russian media. The official Baku blocked access to RIA Novosti in the country, expressing a protest against propaganda by Russian official media separatists in Hangkendi and demonstration of obvious disrespect for territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan. The lock is still valid.
