Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov discussed with the special security officer of the Pope in Ukraine Cardinal Matteo Dzuppy at a meeting in Moscow, interaction in the humanitarian sphere in the context of the Ukrainian conflict. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
“During the conversation, the parties discussed in detail the interaction in the humanitarian sphere in the context of the conflict around Ukraine and affected a number of topical issues of the bilateral and international agenda,” the department said.
The parties also emphasized the “Constructive development of the Russian-Watic dialogue.”
