This was announced by the head of the Main Directorate of the combat training of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Ivan Buvaltsev in an interview with the Red Star newspaper.
Russian aircraft during the “special operation” has accumulated unique experience in conducting modern hostilities, which is now actively introduced into the system of combat training of the types and military branches, Colonel General noted.
To improve it, comprehensive work is carried out, including the updating of training programs, the development of new methodological manuals, bringing the field educational and material base in accordance with the new requirements, continued Buvalsev.
According to him, in 2024, combat training was aimed at achieving, maintaining and improving the required military-professional level of training of personnel, crews, calculations, divisions, military units, formations, management bodies (headquarters) for the implementation of combat and military other tasks in accordance with their purpose.
“The created training system has proved its effectiveness. Serious successes have been achieved in the regiments of the reserve. It is there that military personnel are prepared, who voluntarily entered into a contract, to participate in a special military operation. Seven companies of instructors and eight training companies for training specialists were trained from above 300 thousand military personnel, ”said the head of the Main Directorate of combat training of the RF Armed Forces.
In the context of the sequential offensive promotion of our troops, the preparation of assault units acquired special relevance, he said.
The combat training of military personnel in the new year will be carried out by more than 250 training grounds of military districts, in the interests of the groups of the troops, 74 sections are used, which equip more than 2300 training seats that allow you to conduct qualitatively any measures of combat training of military personnel, Buvalsev noted.
According to him, in the new year, combat training measures are planned in such a way that they are as close as possible to combat conditions. The most large-scale of them in 2025 will be the joint strategic teaching of the Armed Forces of Russia and Belarus “West 2025”, Colonel General said.
“In the coming year, maintaining a high level of measures, improving the quality and volume of training of specialists, as well as the introduction of new tactical techniques into training practice will ensure the ability of the troops (forces) to solve all the tasks set before them,” he added.
