The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrei Sibiga said that the Russian-Ukrainian war is undermining security in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
According to the written application of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine, the Minister of Sibigiga and Secretary of State Anthony Blinken was held in Brussels.
During the meeting, issues such as the defense capacity of Ukraine, strengthening air defense before winter, the need to have long -range weapons in the forces of defense, integration in NATO, as well as efforts to achieve a comprehensive, fair and strong world.
In his speech at the meeting, Sibiga said that during a large -scale airstrike inflicted on Russia in Ukraine on November 13 in the morning, civilians were injured.
He stated that the Russian army committed a “war crime” in Ukraine.
“We must stop the aggressor by the power of weapons, sanctions and diplomacy,” he said.
The Ukrainian minister emphasized that Kyiv needs more “powerful” assistance to weapons to prevent the attacks of the Russian army, and emphasized that the decisions that will be taken in this direction should be accelerated.
Sibiga argued that the fate of global security is also solved in Ukraine today, adding that Russian aggression can be stopped only by “unity and force.”
The minister added that Russia uses missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the production of Iran and North Korea, Russia also attracts North Korean soldiers to this war.
“This war undermines security in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Everything is interconnected,” Sibiga said.
The Foreign Minister of Ukraine emphasized the importance of US assistance to Ukraine and stated that they will continue to cooperate both with the current government and with the newly elected president and his team in the United States.
Sibiga drew attention to the importance of providing all funds and military assistance previously approved in the United States to support Ukraine in the coming weeks and stated that the “leadership” of the United States is extremely important for the restoration of a fair and durable world.
