The health of the former President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili, who was in custody, worsened, his mother Giuli Alasania told reporters.
According to her, M. Saakashvili has lost a lot of weight since March and his temperature regularly rises.
Alasania added that although the doctors repeatedly examined it, they could not determine the cause of the disease. On the contrary, the state of the ex-president over time is becoming more and more difficult.
According to Alasania, M. Saakashvili expects to be sent abroad for treatment.
Note that M. Saakashvili, who returned to Georgia illegally at the end of September last year, was arrested on October 1 in one of the apartments in Tbilisi. The former president has been undergoing treatment for some time in one of the private clinics of Tbilisi due to health problems that arose after his hunger strikes in prison.
