The Opposition Party “The Unified National Movement” (UND) of Georgia will not take part in the work of the parliament and intends to abandon the deputy mandates. According to Haqqin.az with reference to the Georgian media, a member of the UND Levan Bezhashvili made a corresponding statement.
According to him, the decision of the Georgian court to leave Mikhail Saakashvili in conclusion proves that the court has become a “instrument of political revenge.”
“Naturally, following the development of the political situation, we, the faction, decided to use even more stringent forms of protest in this direction,” the politician emphasized, urging Georgian citizens to gather for the action by the government of the government and “show the power of the people.”
