Parliamentary delegation under the leadership of the Chairman of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Sakhiba Gafarova from May 31 to June 4 will be in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan with a worker and official visit. According to the report, the delegation includes the chairmen of the parliamentary committees of Ganir Pashayev and Tair Mirkishili, Deputy Chairmen Malakhat Ibrahimgyzia and Tair Kerimley, Deputy Ilham Mamedov, Head of the Safa Mirzoev Parliament, and other officials.
During the visit, the Parliamentary delegation of Azerbaijan will take part in the Second General Conference of the Parliamentary Association for the Organization for Economic Cooperation in the capital of Pakistan – Islamabad. The chairman of the Milli Majlis will perform at the conference.

At the invitation of the Pakistani side in the framework of the starting 3 June the official part of the visit is expected to meet Sahib Gafarova with the President and Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, as well as with the President of the Senate, the National Assembly Speaker and members of the working group on interparliamentary relations with Azerbaijan.
At the meetings, the current state and directions for the future development of bilateral inter-parliamentary relations will be discussed. Exchange of views on the deepening of cooperation in political, economic, humanitarian and other spheres.
