Azerbaijan’s delegation under the leadership of the Chairman of the Milli Majlis Sakhiba Gafarova goes to St. Petersburg to participate in the spring session of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the CIS member states. This was reported in the Press Department and Public Relations of Milli Majlis.
The delegation includes deputies by Nizami Safarov, Arza Nagiyev, Amin Agazade, Mikhail Zabelin and Emin Hajiyev, Head of Milli Majlis Safa Mirzoev, other officials.
In the framework of the session, the meeting of the Council of MPA CIS, 52nd plenary session of the Assembly and the meeting of the Standing Commissions.
Azerbaijan delegation will take part in the International Parliamentary Conference “Global Challenges and Threats in Pandemic COVID-19. Terrorism and violent extremism.” In addition, the Chairman of Milli Majlis Sahib Gafarov will hold a number of meetings with the leaders of other delegations participating in the event.
Visit will be completed on April 16.
