The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Azerbaijan organized an official reception on the occasion of the 51st national day of the country.
The Ambassador of the UAE to Baku Mohammed al-Blushi spoke about the history of the formation and development of the country, noted the constantly developing cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UAE.
The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, participating in the event, Sakhil Babaev congratulated the people of the UAE on behalf of the government of Azerbaijan. The minister emphasized that the high level of political dialogue between the countries is the result of the sincere friendship of the leaders of the two countries, their foresight, as well as the great importance that they attach to cooperation, said in the press service of the Ministry of Labor.
Babaev said that this year more than 30 documents on cooperation between the two countries were signed. He noted that the turnover between Azerbaijan and the UAE in January-October increased 2.5 times compared to the corresponding period last year. The Minister recalled that the trade representative office of Azerbaijan has been operating in Dubai since 2017, and the trading house since 2019.
Babaev noted large-scale recovery and construction work on the territories of Azerbaijan, liberated from the Armenian occupation, as well as the fact that companies from the UAE could also participate in this process.
