The Executive Director of the Center for Legal Examination and Legislative Initiatives was appointed. By the decision of the Supervisory Board of the Center, Samir Makhmudov was appointed executive director of the Center.
Samir Makhmudov was born in 1987. In 2009 he graduated from the Law Faculty of Baku State University, and in 2013 – a magistracy with a degree in Constitutional Law. In 2015-2016, he continued his studies at the magistracy of the Law Faculty of Law College of the University of Syrakuz (New York, USA).
After actual military service in 2011, he began his career in the prosecutor’s office. In 2011-2013, he worked as an assistant to the prosecutor of the Nizaminsky district of Baku, and in 2013-2015 he worked as a prosecutor and senior prosecutor in the Main Directorate for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General, an expert on counteracting corruption in the organization of economic cooperation and development (OECD) in Paris in Paris .
In 2016-2021, he worked as a lawyer, a senior lawyer and chief lawyer in Omni’s legal company. From July 2021 until the last appointment he worked as a managing partner of the Bonafide law firm.
Since 2018, a member of the Bar Azerbaijani Bar Association, and also teaches at the Department of Civil Law of BSU and at the University of ADA.
