Sandu changed her mind: Moldova will remain in CIS

Moldova is interested in continuing cooperation within the CIS. This was announced on the Pro TV channel by President of the Republic of Republic of Moldova Maya Sandu, noting that so far it is profitable for the country.

“So far, the country can receive advantages from agreements within the CIS, it must receive them. Now there are problems in compliance with these agreements from the Russian side. But there are other countries with which we have commercial relations. We must be pragmatic” , – emphasized Sandu.

Between the member countries of the Commonwealth, there is a zone of free economic activity that allows you to conduct duty-free trade.

“Let’s talk objectively: the CIS is not only Russia, but also other countries. We must understand that European integration will not come tomorrow, even if we get the status of a candidate country in the EU,” concluded Maya Sandu.
