The ex-president of Armenia Serge Sargsyan was questioned in the case of abuse, incriminated by the former Minister of Defense of the country, deputy of the opposition faction “Ayan” Seyran Oganyan. This was announced in the parliament by the Prosecutor General of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan.
“as part of this case, the third president testified. He was questioned,” she said.
At the same time, the Prosecutor General noted that there were no direct evidence that there were no abuses at the direct instructions of Sargsyan. However, on one of the documents, Oganyan wrote by hand that he would discuss the issue with the president.
The legislative body discusses the petition of the Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan about the deprivation of the former minister and the current head of the Ayan faction Seyran Oganyan, accused of embezzlement and assigning property in especially large sizes. One of the petitions presented on the eve was discussed in closed mode. Oganyan himself does not participate in the discussion.
