Saudi Arabia Executed Six Citizens Of Iran For Trying To Smuggle Drugs

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Saudi Arabia reported the execution of death sentences against six Iran citizens accused of trying to import drugs into the country.

“Iran citizens Kasem Muhammad Shabani, Abdurzra Yunus Tenkasiri, Halil Shahid Samri, Muhammad Javad Abduljalil, Mehdi Kenan Ganimi and Hur Muhammad Shabani tried to illegally import drugs to the kingdom,” the official agency of Saado quotes the SADA. >

The statement specifies that the accused were detained, convicted by the court and sentenced to death. By order of the Saudi Arabian authorities, the verdict was carried out.

– Iran condemned the executions

According to Iranian State Agency IRNA, Iranian Foreign Ministry caused an ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Tehran Abdulla Bin Saud al-Anezi to give him a note of protest with “harsh formulations” in connection with the executions.
