Scientists have found out whether Coronavirus can hit eyes

Biologists and virologists from the Institute of Molecular Biomedicine Society Max Planck and Westfaline University named after Wilhelmav in Germany decided whether Coronavirus could hit the eyes, and then multiply on the surface, this is written by Biorxiv.org magazine.

During the study, scientists used three-dimensional cultures of tissues from human stem cells. They were exposed to the virus. The virus ribonucleic acid was discovered using PCR analysis.

It is noteworthy that infected cells are localized in the inner, photosensitive part in the younger retinal organoids, and the outer, the pigment part is affected in mature.

In other words, the study of German scientists showed that the coronavirus can penetrate into the retina and multiply on its surface and inside it.
