Scotland also wants in NATO

Scotland will strive to join NATO in case of independence, said the first Minister of Scotland Nicolas Nerden.

“The party that I head – the Scottish National Party – identified in 2012 … that if Scotland becomes independent, it will seek accession to NATO,” the newspaper Independent quoted the words of the Straden, spoken during the performance at the Brukings Institute in the Institute of Bruckings in Washington.

According to her, NATO membership will be “the cornerstone of the policy of independent Scotland in the field of security”.

Rodzhen previously announced the intention to hold another referendum on independence in 2020-2021, but Prime Minister Boris Johnson repeatedly stated that he would not allow the second referendum, since the Scotland people have already expressed their will in 2014. To conduct a referendum of Scotland, the approval of the central authorities will be required.
