The US decision on the suspension of military supply and the provision of intelligence support to Ukraine will have negative consequences on the battlefield. This was stated by the Minister of Defense of France Sebastian to Lexorny on the air France Inter.
At the same time, the minister confirmed that France shares intelligence information with Ukraine.
The head of the defense department noted that changes in the position of the White House on the conflict in Ukraine are a reflection of the isolation periods that experience the United States from time to time.
According to the minister, it is extremely important that a real dialogue has finally began between Russia and the USA for the resolution of the situation in Ukraine.
Lekornya also noted that the suspension of military assistance and especially the exchange of intelligence from the United States will seriously affect the situation on the battlefield.
“We have sources of intelligence information that we provide to the Ukrainians,” he said.
The Director of the Central Intelligence Directorate (CIA) of the United States John Ratcliffe confirmed that after the meeting of President Donald Trump and the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, the United States temporarily suspended intelligence support and military deliveries to Ukraine.
