About 800 people hide in bomb shelters under the Azot chemical plant in Severodonetsk. This was stated by the head of the Lugansk ova Sergey Gaidai.
“There are local residents who asked to leave the city. But they refused. There are children there, but there are a few of them,” Gaidai said.
Note that the territory of Azot is now under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Sergei Gaidai himself notes that Severodonetsk has every chance of quick release: “Defenders successfully carry out local operations, take prisoners, have everything they need to drive the invaders from the regional center.”
